Jocelyn Gould
Jocelyn Gould is an international performer, recording artist, and educator. Her joyful energy captivates audiences around the world and her passion for music is infectious. She has absorbed the influences of the jazz guitar greats and used these influences to weave an exciting personal sound. Her unique ability to connect with the audience always leaves people wanting more.
Jocelyn has performed with Grammy-nominated vocalist Freddy Cole, trumpeter Etienne Charles, and DownBeatRising Star winner, trombonist Michael Dease. She appears on albums lead by Michael Dease, Jon Gordon, Diego Rivera, Randy Napoleon and Will Bonness. She is the first place winner of the 2018 Wilson Centre International Jazz Guitar competition. Jocelyn’s debut release as a leader, Elegant Traveler, won a 2021 JUNO award for Jazz Album of the Year. She was also nominated for a Western Canadian Music Award for Jazz Artist of the Year.
Jocelyn is a professor and Head of Guitar Department at Humber College in Toronto and plays a 16-B model.
