Limited Edition 40th™ (Discontinued Mar 2011)

2008 marks 40 years since Bob Benedetto cut his family’s maple kitchen table for wood to make his first guitar neck. To celebrate this auspicious occasion, we have created a limited edition 40th Anniversary Guitar. Only forty of these instruments will be made. They begin life as a Bambino Model. Bob created a celebratory 40th Anniversary mother-of-pearl and abalone headstock faceplate to note the 1968-2008 span of his lutherie career. He added a beautiful (and colorful) Georgia Peach inlay as a twelfth fret position marker on the ebony fingerboard to signify Benedetto Guitar’s new home in Georgia. And he gave each guitar an all white finish to differentiate it from our other available finish choices.

Finally, in conjunction with our friend Dave Miner of Miner Family Vineyards in Napa Valley, he bottled a spectacular Magnum bottle of 2005 Miner Benedetto Signature Cabernet Sauvignon in a collectible 40th Anniversary logo-ed bottle. Includes deluxe case, Benedetto black strap, 40th Anniversary Certificate of Provenance.
