Are you attending the South Jersey Jazz event, “Jazz at the Point, a Celebration of Pat Martino’s Life and Legacy” on November 3rd through 6th in Sommers Point, NJ? Have you ever wanted to try a particular model of Benedetto guitars but haven’t been nearby to try on? Well, have we got great news for you… Howard Paul will be driving up Wednesday morning and has room for a few guitars. He’ll obviously bring a Pat Martino Signature model and his own custom 16-B, but if there is something else you would like to get your hands on, please shoot us a message at info@benedettoguitars.com or comment on our Facebook post. See you in Jersey!
HEN’S TEETH
The Cremona model is the fanciest iteration of Bob’s design aesthetic. Classic lines and ornate details make this incredibly rare model the flagship of the flagships.
CALIFORNIA DREAMIN’
This Bravo Elite is heading West… It’s hard to go wrong with the subtle lines and violinistic aesthetic borrowed from the La Venezia model!
THE HOWARDS GET THE BLUES
We’re loving all the incredible content from the Archtop Foundation highlighting the Chinery Blue Guitar collection. Here they have captured a great duo performance featuring Howard Alden and Howard Paul on the Cremona Azzurra and the Kenny Burrell 17″ blue guitars respectively.
ROYCE CAMPBELL PLAYS “WES”
Jazz guitarist Royce Campbell and his Fratello performing his tune “Wes” at a recent Jazz in the Park concert in Staunton, VA. The concert featured Jonah Kane-West on organ and Robert Jospe on drums.
SEVENTY SIX TRIPS
It is Bob Benedetto’s birthday and we wish it to be the best one yet! Happy birthday, Bob!
A Celebration of Life
Be sure you are in Somers Point, New Jersey on November 3rd-6th to celebrate the life and musical accomplishments of Pat Martino featuring some of the finest jazz guitarists in the world.
Grape job, Bob!
Bob Benedetto stays awfully busy for a retired guy! Last week he was working on a beautiful, grape themed inlay for the headstock of Dave Miner’s next Vinodetto (his collection of wine stained guitars).
Yes, indeed!
BG Pres, Howard Paul had the chance to deliver a custom, inlaid tail piece to Steve Howe of the band Yes during sound check in Jacksonville this week. Steve will have it installed on his Autumnburst Bravo Deluxe.
SWEET AND SOUR
Limoncello is one of the more refreshing, non-standard finishes we get to apply from time to time. This Bravo Deluxe was just shipped and will certainly steal the show for the lucky guitarist who ordered it!
