From jazz guitarist to Army officer to corporate executive, Howard is a man of many talents. Born in Petersburg, Virginia, in 1960, he cut his teeth in the music-rich Atlantic City, New Jersey area (where the family moved in 1963). A 1984 graduate of the University of North Carolina-Greensboro, he enlisted in the Army in 1986, rising to the rank of Captain where he served until 1995, and then became an executive for Chatham Steel for the next ten years. His association with Bob Benedetto began in 1996 when he ordered his first custom guitar. In April, 2006, Howard was named President/CEO of Benedetto Guitars in Savannah, GA, and he’s been here with us since!
