Evan Ellis and I were going to do a “What is this Mystery Jig?” Contest (kinda like the “Mystery Chord”) but we changed our mind (this time!) as we thought this might be too tricky.
At left are the fingerboard gluing cauls (one for each model) used to glue the fingerboard blanks to the necks. (R): The underside of one of the cauls.
So, as they say, the jig is up! 🙂

Hilton Head’s The Jazz Corner July 23 & 24 and the Coastal Jazz Society’s concert July 25th. (Both events with veteran jazz pianist George Mesterhazy.)
Howard hits the road again next week for a number of other events:
July 27th, Tuesday: The Merion Inn, Cape May, NJ – Howard performs with the George Mesterhazy Trio, 8 pm.
July 28th, Wednesday: Duquesne University’s Summertime Jazz – Howard performs with Bucky Pizzarelli & Joe Negri. Bucky Pizzarelli will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
July 29th, Thursday: Howard conducts an afternoon Benedetto Guitar Workshop for participants in Duquesne’s Summer Workshops.
August 2nd, Monday: National Guitar Workshop Jazz Summit, New Milford, CT Campus. Howard conducts an Archtop Guitar History Workshop at 4:15 pm
August 2nd, Monday: Route 7 Music hosts a Benedetto Guitar Night, 7:30 pm. Free to the public! Plenty of great guitars, music (and prices!)
