Two National Guitar Workshop instructors attended the Benedetto Guitars seminar and tried out some Bs!

Per Photographer Dave Horne, “I really enjoyed the clinic and the guitars keep up the great work!”
Love those acronyms! Howard Paul demonstrates our Fratello model at the Benedetto Guitar Clinic, part of the National Guitar Workshop in McLean, Virginia, June 30th.

A perk of being the son of BG’s Pres/CEO, we are making Andy a custom bass – to be finished in our Blue Blaze/black. Bass-ically, a stunning instrument!
(Below: Bob and Andy with both basses in the works…)
From start to finish (literally!), all our Benedetto models [including our popular BRAVO] are completely made in Savannah, Georgia.

This is me on the front steps of our home in New Jersey, taken actually on Memorial Day, 1957. But I sat on those same steps with the same flag on every 4th of July, too! Happy 4th, USA! 🙂
Howard has returned from a successful Sales trip, acquiring a great new dealer, Fine Acoustics, in Westminster, Maryland. (Welcome, Ed!)
Shown in their beautiful Showroom: Bravo, 16B, Bambino Deluxe and Fratello.
The (BBGR) ‘Best BG Roadie’ Award goes to Andy Paul (the namesake for our Traveling Guitar)…Aptly named!
Just updated a slew(!) of photos in our Gallery – who better than Jack Wilkins to use for this announcement! More comin’! Happy 4th!
Just came across this fond memory from our trip to the Smithsonian Institution in April 2006 when Bucky Pizzarelli’s first Benedetto guitar was made part of the Permanent Collection of Musical Instruments – a great day! With Bob is dear BG friend Randall Kremer, Director of Public Affairs for the Museum of Natural History [some of you also know him as our Benedetto Players Concert host!) with his Custom Benedetto as well as another dear BGer Bill Doyle with the now famous Anima e Corpo (with the 80 jazz guitarist signatures). BGBFF! 🙂
July 2, 2010 marks our 4th Anniversary in Savannah, Georgia! This photo from July 2006 was taken when we first opened the shop. (L to R): Me, Patty, (a much littler!) Andy & Howard Paul, Bob, our daughter Gina Benedetto with her (now) fiance Karl Cossio (love saying that!), both of whom do our great website, and our incredible Production Manager Evan ‘Andre’ Ellis 🙂
Thank you to everyone who’s been a part of our lives.
Here’s to a happy, healthy and prosperous Year 5!
