We are delighted to bring you a second chance to hear the BENEDETTO PLAYERS on Sunday, August 21st (the day after the Miner/Benedetto Wine Release Concert Sat., August 20th!) Per the Napa Valley Jazz Society:

“July has traditionally been the Society’s month for a breather.  To make up for it, we are excited to be presenting two encore performances in August.

The first of these brings to the intimate Silo’s Jazz Club a group that has become an August fixture in the Napa Valley, the Benedetto Players, featuring the fabulous jazz guitars of Bucky Pizzarelli, Howard Alden, and Howard Paul.  Joining them for the second consecutive year are Savannah’s legendary jazz and R&B composer/bassist Ben Tucker, and Charleston SC drummer Quentin Baxter.  This swingin’ jazz ensemble is brought to the Valley each year by jazz fan and NVJS Sponsor at the Executive Producer level, Dave Miner, to celebrate the release of Miner Family’s wonderful Benedetto red.  If you enjoy toe-tappin’ jazz, be sure to Join us Sunday afternoon, August 21st, at 4:00pm.  (Hearing them once is never enough!)
