This 16″ Custom is the culmination of years of collecting and writing about guitars for a special customer (you know him, but we won’t release his name here). After many original D’Angelicos, D’Aquistos, Gibsons, Epiphones, and dozens of other highly collectible instruments, he opted to “downsize” to one perfect instrument for this point in his life.
It’s a 16B body shape with 3″ depth, floating S6 pickup, X-bracing, traditional F-holes, very highly select European maple back and sides, flame maple binding, spruce top, block inlays, violin-style tailpiece, volume wheel under ebony fingerrest, and Gotoh gold 510 tuners. The finish matches the hue of our 45th Anniversary Guitar.
