Bill grew up in Maine and attended Berklee College of Music where he studied under the late William G. Leavitt. He served as house guitarist for both Harrah’s Reno and Harrah’s Lake Tahoe for seven years, and was then elevated to the position of orchestra leader.
Bill has performed with legendary soul band Tower of Power. He has also appeared with and or recorded with many jazz and contemporary artists including guitarists Joe Diorio, Jack Wilkins and organ greats Joey DeFrancesco and Tony Monaco. Bill’s first solo CD, “Let’s Go”, showcases his phenomenal guitar playing as well as his solid writing and arranging skills featuring well-crafted originals and fresh takes on classic standards. Two of his compositions are featured in Mel Bay’s “2000 Jazz Guitar”, an anthology of solos by the world’s finest jazz guitarists.
He currently lives in Paradise Valley, Arizona where he continues to perform, record and teach privately. View his website.
