Highly unusual, ultra-cool, and amazing performance all rolled into one blonde bombshell. This guitar is based on our 16-B pattern: 16″ lower bout (but with softer shoulders than our Bravo); 2 1/2″ body depth; 25″ scale; 1 3/4″ nut width; built-in A-6 pickup; gold Gotoh tuners with ebony buttons; EPS tailpiece; domestic, flamed, three-piece maple back and Sitka spruce top. Oh, and don’t forget the hand graduated top and back. But Bob decided to get fancy with this one – he traded his traditional F-holes for a large, bound Oval hole, while retaining the built-in pickup design and incorporating parallel bracing. The resulting instrument is pretty spectacular. Acoustically, the oval hole construction provides a warm, bass-responsive and downright loud experience for the player and his/her immediate company. The built-in pickup over the soundhole provides a bit more feedback control, giving the guitarist warmth and volume when performing with an amp. The total package gives acoustic warmth, comfort, performance, and panache. Of course, the rarity makes it a singular piece of art that everyone will appreciate (even the guitar will appreciate!). Includes a deluxe hardshell case.
