You may remember we recently went to visit STEM students at Savannah Country Day School and then brought them to BG headquarters for a tour of our facility. Well, they followed up with the most wonderful thank you card: A laser cut Cremona with the kindest notes and autographs on the back!

The second Centennial Americana is finally here and ready to ship from Bob’s Boutique! Classic, and timeless, but with all that Benedetto class and clean, minimalist appointments, this guitar is just begging to swing.

In the spring of 1923, the world saw for the first time one of Lloyd Loar’s finest creations: the first modern archtop guitar to incorporate violinistic appointments including an end block mounted tailpiece and f-style sound holes.

Today we honor the 100 year anniversary of the Modern Archtop Guitar with 3 custom Americana models appointed in homage. They were built using exceptional woods, non-cutaway 17″ x 3″ body, violin style tailpiece, elongated, bound finger rest, stylized fretboard end, and a gorgeous, wash-in Antiqueburst finish. Collectors and players will agree these are the dream guitars for any swing guitarist, perfectly suited to bridge the gap between a bygone era and contemporary playability and sonic capabilities.

Another stunning beauty has made its way into Bob’s Boutique; We’ve been on a bit of a streak with the Violinburst finishes lately, and this is your chance to get in on it!

The Bravo Deluxe model is arguably the most gig-worthy of the guitars in our lineup. It offers comfortable, semi-compact lines, but with big-guitar voice perfect for all your amplified needs.

It’s been awhile since we’ve given an update on the Centennial Sinfonietta… Well, here it is with the color applied, washed in, and the binding scraped. It’s time to build up clear coats and then we’ll be one step closer to hearing this incredible beauty!

We have done a number of custom Bambino Deluxe model guitars with the faux Elite aesthetic, but this just might be the first Bravo Deluxe to receive the treatment. The trick is to use over sprayed, maple binding, and an ebony faceplate with inlaid Benedetto logo. Simply stunning!

This guitar came dangerously close to being posted in Bob’s Boutique, but it was spared that fate by a guitarist with excellent taste in classic finishes. Light Antiqueburst has become one of our most popular non-standard finishes and we certainly can see why!
