THROUGH THE EYES OF BOB AND HOWARD

Over the weekend, Bob Benedetto and Howard Paul participated in the Inspired Speaker Series presented by the Appleton Museum of Art at the College of Central Florida. In attendance to cover their presentation was Barry Kerzner with American Blues Scene.

“In the world of guitars, those that are coveted most by players are the custom-made instruments. Even more revered and sought after are those instruments that are entirely made by hand. Each of these is as much a work of art as it is a working instrument. In this realm, the name Benedetto represents the pinnacle of handmade archtop guitars.”

CALIFORNIA BOUND (w/b/w/b/w)

Headed to California, our deluxe version of our Bambino maintains the dimensional specifications of the Bambino model but adds modern sound holes, a flamed maple veneer top, gold hardware, and a deluxe binding package (w/b/w/b/w) to the body, neck and headstock. The sound holes enhance the acoustic volume to the unplugged instrument and give the guitar a more traditional archtop look with only a single pickup placed in the rhythm position. To show off the beautiful flamed top, this instrument is available only in Natural and Honey Blonde finishes. Photos by Stephanie Ward.
