Another southpaw has found its way to Bob’s Boutique! This gorgeous Bambino Deluxe is finished with a Light Antiqueburst top, Espresso back, sides, and neck, and is adorned with all gold hardware. The slight dimensions, maple top, and single A-6 pickup make it wildly comfortable, and incredibly versatile.

The emotional outpouring from friends, family, fans, and the like has been almost overwhelming. It is abundantly apparent just how important Pat Martino is to the Jazz Guitar Family at large, so we would like to dedicate a second day’s post to his memory. This rather joyous photo was from our 50th Anniversary celebration in 2018 with Howard Paul, Chico Pinheiro, the Man Himself, and Romero Lubambo.
We are profoundly saddened to learn of the passing of guitar legend and friend Pat Martino (Patrick C. Azzara Sep 25, 1944 – Nov 1, 2021). Pat influenced generations of musicians, and spent a lifetime performing, recording and composing music known around the world for its fire and beauty. Pat was affiliated with with Benedetto Guitars for the past decade, where we produce his Pat Martino Signature model guitar designed by Pat and Robert Benedetto. Pat’s Benedetto accompanied him on every stage and studio performance in his final years. We are proud of our association, honored to be considered his friend, and are forever indebted to Pat for the joy of music he imparted on our musical family. Deepest condolence to Pat’s wife Aya, and to his longtime friend and loyal manager Joe Donofrio, who’s unwavering support of Pat made his life better up the end.
