We’ve been cranking out a few of our Bambinos lately, and this newest baby has a one-way ticket to Switzerland! As its name implies, the Bambino is a baby in size compared to its 17″ flagship brothers…but with a BIG voice. Its lightweight and compact 14-½” body is easily manageable and features a laminated autumnburst maple top and espresso sides, back, and maple neck shaped for playing comfort as only a Benedetto can be. Finished off with two gold plated Benedetto A–6 pickups and a 50th Anniversary truss rod cover! Photos by Stephanie Ward.
It’s that time of year when we shut down the shop for our summer break to give all of our work family time to spend with their real families! So, shipping & handling will be a bit delayed if you order from the Gear Store before July 9 when we are back up and running full steam.
Still open for tours but be sure to call ahead to schedule!

Benedetto is the lucky one to have had Lawrence “Larry” Perkins working as our Master Finisher since June 25, 2011!
He supervises all aspects of the Finishing Department. Born in Paw Paw, Michigan, Larry has studied music for most his life, beginning as a trombonist, and performing his first club gig at the age of 13. While studying music composition and arrangement at Western Michigan University, Larry began doing small repairs and guitar setup for friends. He was hired in 1996 by Heritage Guitars where he quickly moved into the finishing department due to his passion for the instrument and his attention to detail. A year later, he was supervising the department. During his ten years at Heritage, Larry did finish work on 7,804 instruments, including for Kenny Burrell, Roy Clark, Steve Howe, Gary Pucket, John Sebatian, Niki Fox, Charlie Daniels, Frankie Ballard, and Alvin Lee.
Miss Stella Margaret Archibald is settling in at home now surrounded by family and lots of love.
Again, a big congrats to Phil, Vicky, and big brother Greyson!
What are the odds of two Benedetto Artists running into each other in NYC? Pretty good, actually, cause that’s exactly what just happened this past week! Dan Wilson was in town recording Sarah McKenzie’s new album, and Chico Pinheiro was there to greet him.
We snagged this photo of them together from Dan’s social media.
We showed you a Bambino Deluxe in a smooth dark finish opulent brown this week that we shipped out to Missouri. Next week, we send the same model but in a very different finish — natural top with espresso back, neck and sides. The gold A-6 pick-up and binding further differentiate this “finish” on the same model, just demonstrating the breadth of variations we can make to your own custom guitar!
